J. Earnest has developed detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools and controls, using Computer-Assisted Drafting (CAD). He has extensive experience in laying out and drawing schematic, orthographic and angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems and machines. He has coordinated with and consulted other workers to design, lay out, and detail components and systems and to resolve design and other problems. He has also designed specialty items, such as valves, and has modified and revised designs to correct operating deficiencies and to reduce production problems.
