Draftsman, developed by Arbor Image Corporation, is a stand-alone program that imports most common black & white, color and gray raster formats and converts them into true CAD files. This program also features Vector to Raster, OCR, Glyph Outline, Raster & Vector Overlay and color support. Optional Rubber Sheeting and Batch Processing. Essentially, it is a raster-to-vector and vector-to-raster conversion software used in engineering, architecture, manufacturing, and design.

• Draftsman (e.g., Draftsman 2002): A stand-alone Windows program that imports raster images (black and white, gray, or color scans, prints, and silhouettes) and converts them into true CAD files, featuring optical character recognition (OCR) and heads-up digitizing.
• Draftsman Cutting Shop (v4.5): A specialized 32-bit version built for industrial cutting and engraving tasks like laser cutting, routing, milling, flame cutting, and wire EDM. It optimizes tool paths to keep cutting tools down longer and reduce machine wear.
