R. Aligam currently works at the University of the Philippines National Engineering Center as a Research Engineer under the Geographic Information System(GIS) department. Her areas of expertise include Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Mapping and Surveying. Her interests are image interpretation and analysis, map making, geocomputation,web mapping, 3D modeling, land surveying, data gathering, data management and data processing.
