She has 6 years experience in the US and Canadian joist detailing technology, specification and standards. She is well conversant with Steel Joist Institute (SJI) catalogs and criteria, and is familiar with AISC and AWS codes and manuals. She also has experience in handling projects with complex, skewed and curved structures, with special shaped joist and composite decks. She can read and understand 3D views of different structures, check and review projects, and calulate wind uplift, snow drift, load and Bill of Materials.
